Position Overview
To contribute to the company’s growth by overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, production, quality control, and shipment of Worldwide Distribution’s products, ensuring that customer needs are met to the highest standard. The performance of product development supervisors is primarily evaluated based on their accuracy and attention to detail, along with their ability to support the management teams in driving success within their respective categories.
Essential Job Functions
Administrative
Issue purchase orders to manufacturing partners
Ensure all documentation is accurate
Negotiate quotes and estimates
Enter shipping information to internal database
Prepare samples for approval to factories or customers
Compile sales and purchasing information
Sourcing
Find quality partners through various channels
Arrange facility evaluations to determine ability
Negotiate pricing and quality standards according to market needs
Design, review, and approve QC reports.
Potential Travel to different countries for QC inspection and company review
Factory Communications
Maintain current pricing according to market conditions
Ensure production schedule is on time or adjusted as required
Coordinate with logistics team for delivery schedules
Intercompany Communications
Coordinate with sales team for new product or quality inquiries
Report to upper management any outstanding issues
Work with other project development managers / supervisors to solve problems
Conference with team members overseas and its management in order to complete tasks

OVERVIEW:
This role focuses on fostering strategic relationships and partnerships that drive profitable business growth. You will be responsible for acquiring new accounts while managing and expanding existing customer relationships. This includes proactive outreach to potential clients and providing ongoing support to current customers through the Salesforce platform.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts
Promoting new product lines and addressing customer service needs
Utilizing tools such as social media, websites, and other platforms to generate leads
Initiating contact via phone and email to build connections and resolve inquiries
This is a growth-oriented position that plays a critical role in expanding our market presence and delivering value to our clients.
Other duties include but not limited to:
1. Prospecting for new customers via phone contact.
2. Working with existing sales rep team and recruit new ones.
3. Create sales brochures with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Photoshop.
4. Create and develop prospect spreadsheets.
5. Create quotes from worksheets to send to customer/prospects.
6. Create Proforma Invoices for overseas customers.
7. Be a point of contact for established customers.
8. Develop a relationship with customers and attend to re-orders, logistics, and claims.
9. Attend trade shows.
10. Discover opportunities for new product development.
11. Discover opportunities in new Markets not yet served.
Skill List but not limited to:
1. Product knowledge of: Plumbing, Electrical, Hardware, LP Gas and HVAC.
2. Have excellent communication and phone skills
3. Negotiation skills
4. Goal and objective driven
5. Self-Motivated
6. Experience and Knowledge using Salesforce
7. Knowledge Skill in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
8. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
9. Experience with Photoshop.
